ONLINE: Printmaking from scratch

This series of workshops is ideal if you have little to no printing experience.

Duration: 40 minute x 6 sessions

Requirements: Zoom app (free to download), materials & equip to be notified & supplied by learner
Audience: Beginners and improvers; 18+

Duncan-Rice Studios

...is a private atelier that offers printmaking workshops tailored to adult learners. Workshops are designed and lead by artist, Gim DuncanRice, who has taught printmaking workshops in the UK and Australia. Gim was a printmember of the Digswell Arts Trust in the UK and is currently a member of the Capricornia Printmakers in AUS.

Her interest in printmaking started during school days, where she learnt relief and screen printing. Later she received training in etching at the Royal Drawing School, wood engraving at the Slade School of Fine Art and Japanese woodcut printmaking at Morley College, London.

Clients include: colleges, museums, councils and community groups. The studio operates in the Capricornia Region of Queensland, and beyond. Art workshops, demonstrations or consultations are available online and in-person. Workshop rates are based on NAVA (National Association for Visual Arts) payment standards, click here for these.

Payment - via PayPal

Data Protection - We take your data very seriously, we would never ask for your actual birth date or your bank account details by email.

Terms and Conditions -

Your Application is an offer to us to enter into a binding contract with us to purchase a place on the Course. We are free to accept or decline your Application at our absolute discretion. Your offer is only accepted when we send you written confirmation that your Application is accepted or that we are able to offer you a place on the Course (the "Confirmation").

At the point of our Confirmation, a contract will come into existence between us and you (the "Contract"). The Contract will continue until the completion of the Course, unless it is cancelled earlier in accordance with these Terms.

The Contract will be subject to these Terms and Conditions. Please check that the details you provide us are complete and accurate. If you think that there is a mistake in the Terms or the Booking Form or that they do not contain relevant information that you are relying on, please notify us and ask us to confirm any agreed changes in writing before you submit your Application.

Our courses are tailored for adults, so they aare not designed for children. You must be at 18 years to purchase tuition or workshops.

Payment is made upfront, with a 14 day cooling off period. The Cancellation Period will expire 14 days of Confirmation. To cancel within the Cancellation Period you must inform us in writing to info@duncanricestudios.com. If you give us written notice to cancel the Contract outside the Cancellation Period but at least 28 days before the Course starts, you will be entitled to a refund of the Fees you have paid, less an administrative charge of $50. However, if you have expressly requested that we start providing the Services within the Cancellation Period then we will be entitled to charge you a reasonable sum for the Services provided based on the proportion of the Course you have undertaken and the total Fees and we can deduct this sum from any refund payable to you. We will not start providing the Services to you during the cancellation period unless you expressly request us to do so.
